Production employee horticulture

Orange, yellow, red, pink, purple and white! Those are the colors of alstroemerias that we proudly work with every day! With more than 60 people, we grow 23 different types of alstroemerias at 3 locations in Luttelgeest. Our goal is to make people happy with a colorful and surprising flower, which we can also grow sustainably and almost organically. Sustainability is very important to us, you can see this in the way we grow and the contact with our relations and employees.

What are you going to do?

After an informative job interview with the P&O department you plan your first working day together. You will be welcomed by a foreman at one of our locations in Luttelgeest. You start your first working day with a training plan that you go through together.

You start the work well prepared. You will be trained in picking or sorting Alstroemerias, this depends on your own preference for one of these activities. Picking or sorting the various types of Alstroemerias goes at a certain speed, you work towards this. Together with your team you ensure that a good production is run every day.

• You are flexible in terms of working days, because flowers always grow! That is why we also work on Saturdays and public holidays. It is important that you are open to working on these days once in a while

What to expect:

You work a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 5 days a week. The working days are from Monday to Saturday. Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Times may vary slightly during the summer period. You may occasionally have to work overtime.
